1. L'Archetto

Primavera - Mozzarella, pomodoro fresco a pezzi (cheese, tomatoes and basil)
Via Germanico 10500153 RomeItaly

I love l'Archetto. I get excited I think I might get to go here. I decided however to branch out from my usual 4 cheese which I've always got and try something new. This was a mistake. While it wasn't bad by any means, it just was pretty average which was a surprise. It must mean that the main benefit of the 4 cheese is really the quality and quantity of cheese. Also means that there must be somewhere better that has both amazing cheese and even better crust. I shall investigate.

Stick to four cheese. Can't go wrong with Mozzarella, fontina, gorgonzola and edam (especially with lots of gorgonzola)

An old favourite. Few places rival L'Archetto
Hard to say much more than this place is near perfect except that it isn't across the street from my house. They may need to move.
Still the best four cheese pizza in Rome.
9/10

Surprise surprise I'm back at Pizzeria L'Archetto again.  But as it is close to pizza wife's work and it is amazing, I'm never going to complain.  And this time was arguably the best pizza they've produced.  Often it can be a bit thin and sometimes burned, but this time it seemed thicker and none of the crust was burnt.  I was tempted to order another for dessert.  Very tempted.
#1 four cheese pizza in Rome so far

Pretty quick and came over to add an extra table to our group which was already at 12 or so people

A bit thin crust and the edges are often burnt slightly but still amazing.  I wouldn't argue if they were slightly larger as well but that's just being a bit picky.
